Since its inception, the Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx) has placed women entrepreneurs at the centre of its mission to advance inclusive innovation and global health impact. Through its Women in Innovation (WiN) work, HIEx has championed female entrepreneurship across multiple dimensions: driving advocacy and thought leadership on women-led innovation; providing one-to-one mentoring and tailored growth support to entrepreneurs within its portfolio; designing and delivering accelerators that help women innovators scale; facilitating access to public procurement and market opportunities; and creating innovative funding and investment pathways for women transforming health systems.
As a first milestone in this journey, HIEx co-founded, together with Reckitt and the Kofi Annan Foundation, the WiNFUND — a pioneering accelerator platform combining training, catalytic investment, and growth support for female founders. Building on the success of WiNFUND, HIEx continued expanding its commitment through strategic partnerships, including the design and delivery of Reckitt Catalyst in collaboration with YSI, and innovation sandbox initiatives with Bayer Foundation supporting women entrepreneurs in Indonesia. Both programmes are currently active and scaling impact.
Fully committed to strengthening regional ecosystems and unlocking global opportunities for women innovators, HIEx is now launching WiN India — a platform dedicated to connecting curated women innovators from India with international markets, investors, and strategic partners.
