Connecting Women Innovators to Capital, Markets and Global Opportunity

WiN USA is a catalytic platform by the Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx) designed to connect women innovators with the capital, markets, institutions and partnerships they need to scale their impact.

Built on HIEx’s global Women in Innovation (WiN) work, WiN USA brings together women entrepreneurs, investors, corporations, public institutions, academia and global partners to create stronger pathways for women-led innovation to move from promising solutions to sustainable scale.

With an initial foothold in New York, WiN USA serves both as a platform for women innovators in the United States and as a gateway connecting women-led innovation across countries and markets.

WHY THE USA

The United States is one of the world’s most influential ecosystems for entrepreneurship, investment, technology, research and innovation. It offers access to capital, corporate partners, academic institutions, global networks and dynamic innovation communities.

Yet access to these opportunities is not equal.

Women entrepreneurs continue to face barriers to funding, networks, market access and the relationships that can accelerate growth. At the same time, many outstanding women innovators from other markets struggle to access the U.S. ecosystem and translate international success into partnerships, investment and market opportunities.

WiN USA aims to help bridge both gaps.

By connecting women innovators with investors, institutions, corporations, governments and international networks, HIEx is creating practical pathways for women-led solutions to grow within the United States and across borders.

WHat wIN usa AIMS TO ACHIEVE

WiN USA is designed to strengthen the ecosystem around women-led innovation and create new pathways between innovation, investment, markets and impact.

Through a curated, high-impact platform, HIEx will help facilitate:

  • Access to investors and catalytic capital

  • Strategic introductions and corporate partnerships

  • U.S. and international market access

  • Public-sector and institutional connections

  • Executive education, expertise and strategic support

  • Global visibility and showcase opportunities

  • Cross-border partnerships between innovation ecosystems

  • Sustainable pathways for growth and scale

The platform will prioritise high-potential women innovators whose solutions can generate measurable impact in areas including health, climate, technology, AI, wellbeing and other impact-driven sectors.

WiN USA is part of HIEx’s ambition to build WiN as a connected global platform, not a series of isolated country programmes.

The launch of WiN India in Hyderabad marked an important step in this journey, creating a platform to connect outstanding Indian women innovators with international markets, investors and strategic partners.

WiN USA creates the other side of that bridge.

Together, WiN India and WiN USA establish a practical India–USA innovation corridor designed to move opportunities in both directions.

For Indian women innovators, the corridor can provide access to U.S. investors, corporations, academic and research institutions, strategic partners and one of the world’s most influential innovation markets.

For U.S. women innovators, it opens a gateway into India, creating opportunities for real-world testing, validation, local partnerships, commercial access and adaptation across different populations, contexts and price points.

Two markets. One corridor. Opportunities in both directions.

Building a Two-Way India–USA Innovation Corridor

New York provides a natural starting point for WiN USA.

As a global centre for finance, investment, technology, academia, philanthropy, diplomacy and international institutions, New York offers a unique environment in which to connect innovation with both U.S. and global opportunities.

HIEx strengthened this foothold during UNGA81 in New York, where its Women, Innovation and the Future convening brought together women entrepreneurs, government leaders, investors, partners and advocates to explore how locally developed solutions can reach investment, markets and scale.

The relationships and momentum generated in New York provide a foundation from which WiN USA can grow, connecting the U.S. ecosystem with HIEx’s international network of innovators, governments, investors and partners.

New York: A Gateway to Global Opportunity

WHat MAKES wIN usa DIFFERENT

WiN USA is not simply an accelerator.

It is an ecosystem and market-connection platform designed to bring together the actors required for women-led innovation to scale.

Through HIEx’s relationships with governments, international organisations, investors, corporations, academia and innovation ecosystems, WiN USA creates opportunities for women innovators to build the connections that can unlock their next stage of growth.

It also provides investors and partners with access to a curated pipeline of women-led innovation emerging from the United States and other high-potential markets.

This combination of local ecosystem building, international market access and global connectivity sits at the heart of the WiN USA proposition.

A LONG-TERM PLATFORM FOR WOMEN-LED INNOVATION

WiN USA is part of HIEx’s broader ambition to build an interconnected global ecosystem in which women innovators have greater access to capital, markets, institutions and influence.

Starting with New York and building connections with WiN India and HIEx’s wider international network, the platform will develop partnerships that enable women-led solutions to travel further and scale faster.

The ambition goes beyond supporting individual entrepreneurs. It is about building the connections, corridors and ecosystems that allow women-led innovation to move across borders and create impact at scale.

WiN USA. Rooted locally. Connected globally. Women-led.
