HIEx will convene a series of high-level side sessions during the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Building on our continued presence at major global health and development convenings, including WHA, UNGA and WEF, this year’s program will be held under the theme:

Better Together
Connect. Innovate. Impact.

This theme reflects the next chapter in our convening journey. Across our work, we have focused on bringing together people, institutions, innovators, investors and decision-makers who may not always sit in the same room, but whose collaboration is essential to advancing practical solutions. At UNGA 81, we will continue this work by creating space for focused dialogue, partnership-building and action around some of the most urgent issues shaping the future of health, innovation and resilience.

Across three days, the HIEx program will explore key areas where stronger partnerships and more connected ecosystems are needed to move innovation from discussion to implementation, and from promising solutions to real-world impact.

UNGA 81 offers an important opportunity to move beyond isolated conversations and build the partnerships, financing models and implementation pathways needed to strengthen health systems, advance equitable innovation and support solutions that can scale across communities and markets.
