The Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx) and the Global Health Security Fund (GHSF) bring together over 50 investors with a focus on growth-stage innovative solutions for Sustainable Development Goal 3 through a systems-based healthcare lens. The Coalition is designed to demonstrate that catalytic health technology startups built for scale and superior market return can be achieved through well-designed public-private partnerships for deployment in the Global North as well as the Global South. We seek to support and generate context-ready systems based impact. Membership to the Coalition is by invitation only. The focus of the Coalition includes:

CONNECTING LEADERSHIP: The Coalition brings together an exclusive cadre of international leadership in venture capital, private equity, health systems and globalhealth thought-pioneers. The members convene with global policy makers, government and global agency leadership to identify, evaluate and support paradigm-shifting health technologies that can be harnessed to change the way equitable healthcare is delivered in the Global South.

RE-IMAGINING GLOBAL HEALTH INVESTMENTS: The Coalition is designed to demonstrate that catalytic health technology startups built for scale and superior market returns can be achieved through well-designed public-private partnerships for deployment in the Global North as well as the Global South. We seek to support and generate context-ready systems based impact. 

INVESTING IN THE FUTURE OF HEALTH : Building on the unique convening power and political access of the HIEx, the Coalition will unpack how catalytic health technology companies that demonstrate market traction and promise can be scaled, supported and deployed in multiple markets within the Global South. We also aim to work in full partnership with national and international policymakers to select context ready innovations and effect new innovation policy within the context of 2030 goals.
