Dr. Biju Jacob is the Country Director at HIEx. He is an experienced leader in innovation strategy, research infrastructure and start-up advisory with a decade of experience in early-stage discovery, clinical research and regulatory affairs. Worked in both large organizations and start-ups with deep medical research & management experience. Academically trained as a medical geneticist and a serial entrepreneur by passion, advised 100+ biomedical/healthcare startups in conceptualizing, building, and running new ventures through Starthealth-Unitus Seed Fund, Axilor Ventures, CAMTech-Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a recipient of BIRAC Innovation 2014 award, ISBA National award for entrepreneurship 2010 and CV Raman Young Scientist Awards 2007.

Mr. Pradeep Kakkattil is the CEO of HIEx. He is a serial entrepreneur, innovation and Impact. Co-Founder Health Innovation Exchange, Immuna Therapeutics, Geovitas energy and climate technologies. Global health and innovations leader. Co-founder of Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx) a unique platform connecting political leadership with innovators and investors for healthcare access which over last 2 years has facilitated over USD 200mn in investments. He is co-founder of the Women in Innovation Fund (WiNFUND) which advocates, invests and supports acceleration of female health entrepreneurship in Africa and Asia. He has also co-founded Technical Support Facility (TSF) and built it to be the largest TA mechanism of the UN in HIV.

Dr. Padmini (Mini) Murthy nee Mokshagundam MD, MPH, MS, FAMWA, FRSPH is an internationally acclaimed physician, public health leader, author, and Professor Emeritus advancing women’s health, global health, AI in healthcare, and human rights. As AMWA’s Global Health Lead and NGO Representative at the United Nations, she fosters impactful global partnerships. Dr. Murthy made history as the first Indian-born American physician in 77 years to receive the prestigious Elizabeth Blackwell Medal, recognizing her exceptional contributions to advancing global women’s health. An accomplished author of five books, she has delivered over 300 presentations worldwide.

Ms. Rashmee Sharma is a global professional with 15+ years of experience across international development, HR transformation and cross-border partnerships in Europe and India. She serves as General Secretary, Switzerland Chapter, The Diplomatic Club, and is Co-Founder and Executive Committee Member of the Swiss India Professional Network. Previously with Gavi and EY, Rashmee brings strong expertise in strategic partnerships, global health, organisational transformation and stakeholder engagement.

Dr. Navneet Tewatia
Public Health Policy & Advocacy

Dr Navneet Tewatia is a public health and policy professional with over 22 years’ extensive experience in access to health technologies, multi-sectoral advocacy and high-level engagement with governments, political leaders and global health institutions. He is also Co-founder of Celleome Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. He serves as Consultant, Policy & Advocacy for the Medicines Patent Pool and Unitaid. He has worked with UNAIDS, Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance, FIND, FICCI and the Parliamentary Forum on HIV/AIDS. A pharmacy graduate with Masters from NIPER Mohali, he also holds a Ph.D. from the National Law School, Bengaluru.
